CrossFit CT is a CrossFit affiliate.

CrossFit CT is a strength and conditioning training program designed to improve health and fitness for people of all ages and fitness levels, in a measurable, meaningful way. This put together in a supportive community-based program, with a coach dedicated to help each individual reach their health and fitness goals. 

CrossFit is constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity. The functional movements used reflect the core movements of life, that include gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing and more. Employing a constantly varied approach to training, functional movements and intensity will lead to dramatic gains in fitness, that prepare our athletes for the unknown and the unknowable, so they are able to preform well at any task imaginable.

Modification and scaling can be applied to all weights, movements and intensity to be inclusive of all of ages and fitness levels.

We aim to provide a supportive and safe environment in which you will be coached into moving throughout each workout well.

Each WOD (work out of the day) starts with a workout brief describing the movements and the intent of the workout and include options to scale movements to suit all abilities, followed by a warm up/prep for workout. The main part of the WOD may be broken up in 2 parts, a strength/skill component and a conditioning workout, with a warm down/stretch to finish. All classes are 1 hr and will be fully guided by a coach dedicated to helping each individual reach their fitness goals.
